It was in the 1970s when, in Milan, I had the opportunity to meet Arturo Schwarz, the great interpreter of the international surrealist movement, as well as gallery owner and scholar of that art which fascinated me so much. From there began my interest in the non-real, which in my opinion still exists
under hidden guises in certain contemporary art. Precisely in this way, those expressions also resurface deliberately in my photographic and artistic research.
